The partner most
agencies can't be.
A standing senior engineering bench on monthly retainer. Roadmap support, continuous delivery, and the relationship most agencies can't sustain after launch.
Most of our work converts to a retained partnership after launch. That's by design: we build software that stays strategic, and the client wants the team that built it still on the field. Retainers are how the under-promise, over-deliver ethic compounds over years instead of ending at go-live.
What’s actually included.
Monthly senior-hour allocation
40, 80, 160, or 320 senior-engineer hours per month. Reserved capacity — not first-come, first-served.
Quarterly architecture reviews
Every quarter, a senior engineer audits the codebase, infra, and dependencies. A written report with recommendations and a priority stack.
Emergency response SLA
Named on-call engineer. Pager-duty rotation. 15-minute response for P0, 1-hour for P1, written post-mortem for every incident.
Dedicated Slack channel
Your team and our team in one channel. Same-day response during business hours for non-urgent questions.
Annual technology roadmap
Every January, a written one-year technology roadmap aligned with your business plan. Reviewed mid-year.
Continuous delivery
Weekly deploys. Feature work, refactors, and security updates shipped on a predictable cadence.
Dependency & security patching
We watch your stack and patch proactively. Most retainer clients never see a dependency security incident.
Knowledge continuity
Two engineers assigned, one primary, one secondary. No single point of failure. Fully documented.
Direct answers.
Q. Do I have to have worked with you before?
No, but we need to do a thorough system audit first. We won't take on a retainer for a codebase we can't defend.
Q. What if I need more than my allocated hours?
Overage is billed at the standard senior rate; we flag it a week ahead. Most months, clients are under their allocation.
Q. What happens if I want to leave?
30-day notice. We hand off fully — repo access, runbooks, active tickets — and can even help you hire the replacement team.
Q. Is there a minimum term?
Three months. After that, month-to-month.

Tell us about the problem. If partner retainers is the right fit, we’ll scope it on the intake call. If it isn’t, we’ll tell you.
